When thinking about installing or maintaining a swimming pool hygiene plays a key role in treatment. In addition to filters and cleaning chemicals, pumps provide sufficient constant water flow. This is ideal when a pool is in regular use, as we all know getting in and out of a pool drags unwanted dirt and debris into the water.
Swimming pools fitted with water pumps ensure that debris is regularly removed from the pool maintaining a clean environment for you to relax in. These pumps work on a low voltage supply reduced down form mains power. The pumps are also well insulated ensuring that inner parts of the pump are never exposed.
Almost all pool pumps will have a built in filter that can be easily changed when required. The most common types of swimming pool that use electrically powered pumps are in ground and above ground pools. Above ground pools are often designed to be taken out of use when desired and therefore require only a small portable pump that is easy to service. These types of pump require little skill when the filter needs to be changed and this task can be completed within 10 minutes.
In ground pools tend to have a large fixed in place pump that is situated further away from the pool. These types of pump will require more service and a greater skill level when servicing. Unlike above ground pools this type of pool will have larger easy to remove filters situated within the pool itself.
